How to convert electrical resistivity
Resistivity describes how strongly a material resists electric current, independent of its shape. Copper is about 1.7 × 10⁻⁸ Ω·m.
Every electrical resistivity unit is a fixed multiple of one base unit, the Ω·m. To convert a value, multiply it by the size of the starting unit and divide by the size of the target unit. For example, to convert Ω·cm to Ω·m, multiply by 0.01. To go the other way, divide by 0.01.
The converter above does this for you and shows the exact formula under the result.

Frequently asked questions
How many Ω·m is 1 Ω·cm?
One ohm-centimeter is 0.01 ohm-meters.
How do I convert Ω·cm to Ω·m?
Multiply the value in Ω·cm by 0.01 to get Ω·m. For example, 10 Ω·cm = 0.10 Ω·m.
How many Ω·m is 1 Ω·cm?
1 Ω·cm = 0.01 Ω·m, and 1 Ω·m = 1 Ω·cm.
Does this electrical resistivity converter work offline?
Yes. After the page has loaded once, all calculations run in your browser, so it keeps working without an internet connection.
