How to convert typography
Designers and developers move between pixels, points, picas and em. In CSS, 1 inch is 96 px and 1 pt is 1/72 inch. The em and rem values here assume a 16 px base font size.
Every typography unit is a fixed multiple of one base unit, the px. To convert a value, multiply it by the size of the starting unit and divide by the size of the target unit. For example, to convert px to pt, multiply by 0.7500000000. To go the other way, divide by 0.7500000000.
