How to convert acceleration
Acceleration is how quickly speed changes. Standard gravity on Earth is 9.80665 m/s², which is why accelerations of vehicles, rides and aircraft are often quoted in g.
Every acceleration unit is a fixed multiple of one base unit, the m/s². To convert a value, multiply it by the size of the starting unit and divide by the size of the target unit. For example, to convert g to m/s², multiply by 9.80665. To go the other way, divide by 9.80665.
The converter above does this for you and shows the exact formula under the result.
